Boundary Surveys

Many projects must consider property line locations and this is an important area for a surveyor to be highly skilled in. Handling boundary surveys properly and carefully is extremely important. Hundreds of boundary surveys have been performed and recorded. Understanding and complying with state and local laws is a primary order of business.

Local Government Projects

Local projects include several SF PUC contracts including Crystal Springs Pump Station and Dam Modernization, Christopher Drive water line and tank replacement, McLaren Park Water Tank refurbishment, and Golden Gate Park water line replacement. San Francisco City College hired Geometrix for the Hayes Street campus site improvement. We have also worked with San Francisco Recreation and Parks Department on several park improvement projects.

Construction Large Scale

Large scale projects include Santa Clara Water District’s Lower Silver Creek refurbishment project as a sub consultant to Harris and Associates engineers on a several mile long creek that was completely re-aligned and reinforced. Environmental contractor CH2MHill employed Geometrix to accurately layout monitoring wells for the Naval Air Station in Alameda using state of the art GPS VRS networking solutions. Lou has also worked on a major pipeline project for the CA Department of Water Resources which was a 60 mile water line connecting the California Aqueduct to central California coast. The project involved 3 pump stations, a tank/water purification site, and 2 major tunnels.
